Dire Peak

The largest mountain in all of the territory. The whole area is covered in thick forest. There is one huge clearing with a large body of water, which is the lake. Further down the forest, you come to the icy perked mountain's beginning. Once you climb the cliffs and ice you come to the peak, where you can see the whole of the territory and the northern lights.

Place One :: Lake Marion

Ocean trotted out of the treeline to the lake's shore. Her front paws were submerged in the crystal clear liquid as she bent down to drink. Her tongue lapped up the refreshing water as droplets fell from her muzzle.
After the satisfying drink, she sat on the golden sand, the same color as her fur. 'Where are they?' She huffed then turned her head to look behind her, "Alaska? Ares?" She said in a questioning tone, keeping an eye out for the silver female and the dark browny hued male before returning her gaze to the quiet blue that reminded her of her homeland. A smile formed on her face and her head tilted slightly as she watched the sun make the lake glisten. She started to doze off... As usual...

The female with eyes of azure and cyan emerged from the edges of the woods in usual silence, her tail swaying with graceful momentum. Alaska's small paws reached the warm sand that stuck to her soles as she moved forward, towards the honey brown female. Her glassy eyes examined Ocean, and it seemed as if she were in a trance. Alaska sat down nearby, but out of the water's reach. She did not want to interrupt her current state, so she simply turned her view and gazed at the mountain ahead in the distance, which had a coat of ice and snow. A few seconds flew by, and the silvery white femme decided to speak up, "Ocean..?" she quietly addressed and tilted her head. She was about to ask Ocean to tell her how her homeland was like again, but Alaska shrugged off the thought.
At the moment, Ally felt at the edge of falling in a trance as well. Everything seemed so peaceful, but without her friends, she would probably be endlessly navigating around the whole of Canada.

Place Two: The large framed he-wolf known as Ares wandered around in the dense thicket. His pelt looked as if he was once purely golden then leaoed through an ashy smoke cloud, making the colors stick to him. His plae gaze flicked around the trees surrounding him, he stopped for a moment. "Alaska? Ocean? " He called out from the trees, his calm and kind voice echoed slightly then soon vanished. 'Where are those two?' Ares wondered where his companians had run off to, he continued to forward. Soon the clear glistening lake was in his view, and there sat his dear pack mates seated along the sandy shore.

Place One: Ares looked up to the warm sun, it's solar rays beaming downon the land. Alaska's pelt was slightly glowing and gleaming like freshly fallen snow, by her side was Ocean, she was shining a bright warm golden shade like the sand. The honey-ash shaded male padded over to the two she-wolves, and he rested on his haunches beside them. "Where have you guys been?" His head tilted slightly with curiosity wondering why they had traveled here. He took a deep breath and followed the two's gaze straight ahead, beyond the clear lake. There before them was a large moutain, its apex covered in a blanket of snow, all Ares could was was the mountain tip, all else was currently a blur. His home was in northern Europe, the moutains and all other land was always covered in snow. He grinned a bit and his tail began to fan slighlty. The large he-wolf did miss his home land he risked his life to gain back, but he couldn't imagine leaving his new family.

Ocean snapped out of the trance hearing her companions' voices. She turned to see the silver female with azure-cyan mixed eyes, and the ashy-honey male with the icy blue eyes. "Looking for you, where else?" Ocean said, sarcastically, looking at Ares with a raised brow. She shook the 'joke' off of her mind and put her thoughts to some use. "Where to now?" The sandy hued she-wolf said, her right ear turned out towards the large mountain in the distance.

Ares flicked free of his hypnotic gaze, shaking his smokey hued head. His pale icy glance shifted to Ocean as she made her remark, the sun making his silve, emerald, and honey flecks visible. The large creautre smiled kindly to his close friends, Ocen was just barely smaller than him. "Well I was looking for you two." His response was kind, smooth, and a bit playful. Ares strectching his frame and long golden legs, bowing his fore frame while his hind stayed high in the fresh air. As he stood he rose is head high into the atmosphere, as the new swirling breeze rushed past him. It flew througout his silky smooth pelt, and brought new aromas into his nares. His obsidian shaded pupils soon dialated, he sensed something was off, or new in his land. He showed no signs of worry, discomfort, or caution; he was full of curiosity. Was a new heard grazing the grounds, maybe a mother creature had given birth or quite possibly a new wolf had entered? He stood still, each of his ears rotating side ways then forward while perked up. He could hear the faint sound of creatures moving in Rocky Woods,they were scattering away from something but what was it?

The large alpha stood taller than many wolves, he glanced to his two pack mate with a sly devilish smile. "Looks like we've got company. I hear the animals in the forest prancing and scrambling." His voice was it's usual deep and calm tone, he peering his gaze near the scampering sounds that his ears picked up. His rose his muzzle high into the silent air, a rumble grew in his broad wide chest. His vocals vibrated as his song was released, a thunderous dominant howl flew from his maw and into the area. It echo to each end of the packs territory. Afterwards he smiled and awaited either a response or for someone to approach he and his group. He chuckled lightly and smirked once more to his friends, with a flash of a wink he spoke once more. "Lets go check out what it is." He padded at a calm pace towards the area that holds the forest. The he-wolf's long tail swayed kindly, he was a welcoming creature unless he senses a threat. He is not scared to hold his ground to any wolf. Ares will do all he can to protect his small and well family. He glanced to Alaska and Ocean to see if they were coming, then once more. 'I wonder who it is? The forest dwelling creatures were not running quickly in fear, just pacing away with caution. A creature that isn't usually there, our is never there; happened to be roaming it's grounds. It seems like a calm animal. Can't wait to see what they're like.' His gaze peered the woodland as his thoughts pondered.[/color]

Alaska's eyes gleamed when she heard an approaching voice. It was Ares, and now the silver white femme could feel at ease, knowing that all her companions were present. She stood up and gave a slight movement, sort of like a short rapid shake of her coat, sending small particles of sand into the air. While her companions conversed, her focus was on a distant presence, not too far off. Obviously, she wasn't much of a talker, but more of a thinker. She chuffed faintly, and turned her narrow muzzle away from the group, her nose flaring slightly. Her tail gave a sharp flick when Ares then mentioned something related to her thought, such as a new creature. The lean femme trotted a few steps away and looked back to Ocean and Ares, then gave a short nod.
As Ares gave a deep howl, she held her voice down. Howling was not a completely wise choice for her to perform, but Ares is different, and so was Ocean, so they all had different ways, which allowed them to bond. Alaska then began to walk, which seemed like a quick trot to others. Her ears flattened, and she glanced back towards Ocean, and waited a few seconds before continuing. Ares was slightly ahead of them, but that would change in just a moment. The Alaskan female released a gentle smirk and waited for her golden creamy friend, Ocean, to come along.

Ocean huffed playfully at Ares' remark. Her head tilted as he got up, speaking of another creature in the woods. Alaska joined him and started trotting off. Ocean sighed and leapt up from the sand, her paws making tracks in them. She did a jog up to her companions and looked at them, with sand still in her fur, but she didn't mind; She was born on a beach after all!

The sandy hued female raised her head while she sniffed the air, and kept her ears perked. A faint scent of a lone male soon drifted into her nostrils almost at once; Ocean had a great sense of smell, but a bad eyesight and not the best hearing. Without a word she took a few steps towards east of Rocky Woods and looked behind at her companions, signalling that the scent is coming from there. "Well come on!" The sandy she-wolf barked then started walking towards Rocky Woods.

Alaska paused before both of her companion's started separating in their directions. She huffed when Ocean called out for them, but her paws were already instinctively heading east, to the scent she once sniffed out back by the lake. Her tail raised, leveled with her back, and the lean female began accelerating forward towards the source, and close by Ocean's side at a swift, yet effortless pace.

Place One

Ares grinnned as he saw his companions walk near him, he pounced and bound into a swift sprint. His long lean legs looking like a blury sand storm as he sped through, his paws pressing off the earth with pure fierce power. He pressed himself to go faster, he lowered his head to reach top speed. Although he was a large broad creature, he did not make much noise. The three lived in the lands so long, they learned quickly to adapt to it's nature. Ares has learned every location of each tree, rock, and creature home. His agile movements were remarkable, he bobbed and weaved around. Ares was a wolf who highly loved and respected land, he was highly in tune with his territory. The he-wolf's long velvet tinted salmon toungue lolled from his ajar maw. The canid loved nothing more than doing something that involved nature, such as running and gazing at the passing scenery.

All the neighboring creatures went on with their business, they seemed to be comfortable around the three canines since they've done nothing to threaten them.

His broad chest was expanding and contracting evenly as his heart beat raced from the highly paced sprint, but what was the large wolf doing? His pale eyes slowly began to shut, something he does often while running. Since Ares travels on his own much around the land for patrol, he bagan to test himself and his knowledge of the land. By shutting his eyes he relies on memory and his hearing, he jumped over patched off rocks, fallen logs, and bushes. He doesn't often do this while he is with his friends, incase he meses up.Once he relized he managed to get far nd opened his eyes once more. He chuckle and smiled to himself, proud he's been doing so well. Off he went towards the creature he heard before.

Ocean shivered as a strange feeling went down her spine as she returned to the lake. It was from a breeze carrying the coldness from Dire Peak. Ocean didn't quite like the cold, so she would be in for a nasty surprise when the snows arrive, as she had never experienced the ice before. Yet she never wondered what that white stuff on the mountain was. She never went up there, either. Maybe it was a Ocean thing.

"Here we are, Lake Marion. Our main water supply and fishing spot. A lot of creatures come here to drink. And over there is Dire Peak, behind us is Pine Tree Forest." She explained, her ear flickering at the breeze. 'At least the head ache has passed...' Ocean muttered quietly under her breath, something that wasn't in her native tongue. "Je déteste le froid..." She shook her head as she arrived to the sandy beach-like shore of the lake and waited for Dmitry.

With his head in line with his shoulders, Dmitry passed through the trees and stopped besides Ocean. Despite his thick layer of fur, he could still feel that the air has gotten a lot colder due to the water. The silvery male stood there, the waters surface reflecting off his eyes. It had a calming effect on him. The large brute smiled as he breathed in. The scent of the water hit his nose hard. He approached the lake and dipped his head, his ears instantly folding back. He could see his abnormal eyes through the reflection. His salmon colored tongue hung down; a shiver instantly rushing through him. The water tasted even better due to how thirsty he was. His tongue lapped up the water quickly for about 20 seconds.

With a quick shake of his head, he turned back to Ocean. She had told him that this lake was their water supply and had an abundance of fish. Perhaps he would learn to fish in this very lake once he became settled down in his new home. His optics scanned over Ocean and with a quick tilt of his head, he realized how she was almost camouflaged with the sand. It hadn't occurred to him before, but he noticed that Ocean might have been born near or on a beach. He shook himself from the thoughts that distracted him and murmured out, "It's a beautiful lake. I've seen many similar in my travels..."

Ocean snorted out of a day dream of being back home, noticing Dmitry had arrived. "Indeed..." She said smoothly, hoping no one heard her snort. Ocean nodded, turning her gaze from the glistening lake to the silver male who had finished drinking. 'I'm good, I had a drink before.' The sandy hued she-wolf thought, then took a deep breath and sighed; The lake was so calmly. "Well, ready to go when you are. We still have a lot places to see still." She said smoothly, trying to ignore the breeze that was still ruffling her fur. Even though her ear or tail with annoyance.

Dmitry nodded as Ocean spoke. With the flickering of his tail, he followed her closely behind. His large paws made quite a lot of noise as he stepped onto small twigs, leaves and anything else that was in the way. Bushes would catch onto his fur, making a lot of noise as they walked through the woods. However, he was almost oblivious to it for his hearing wasn't too good and he didn't really care for stealth unless he was hunting. His orbs glistened as he stepped into the several rays of light that penetrated the trees large branches. "Kak krasivo(how beautiful)..." he murmured, louder than he had intended. He was lost in thought as he studied the world around him.

Alaska's paws made little sound as they came in contact with the earth. Her eyes were settled ahead of her, but in just a short amount of time, her paws were beginning to make quick movements to the side, making her way over obstactles that lay in her path. She could already tell this was the beginning of climbing her way up the mountain, it was the beginning of Dire Peak.

The sandy hued female ruffled her fur a bit, finally getting the last of the dry sand out of it. She silently sneezed as some of it got into her nose. She leapt up on a rock that was just on the treeline of the lake and looked around to where they could go from here. Her ears perked high upon her head as she smelt Alaska's scent lingering in the area, but she ignored it. The snowy female always knew what she was doing. Ocean shook her head and returned to thinking of where her small party could go from the lake. 'East Woods, Ice Cave, Pine Tree Forest, Dire Peak's Beginning... Kuckunniwi Clearings!' The tall, but somewhat slim female (under her fur) yipped, "come on then" and started heading towards the clearing that was south of where she was.

Place 3: Dire Peak's Beginning

The dame of white silvery fur began reaching out further for rocks, and the surface line of the mountain was now becoming steeper. Alaska continued her way up the mountain, controlling her breathing. A tender smile curled up on her lips, and she quickened her pace. But, within a second, a thin flat rock shifted beneath her, making her lose her balance. The femme chuffed and quickly looked to the left for a safe spot to leap on, and so she did.
Her right paw was slightly sore, but not bad enough for her to stop. She began to feel like scolding herself for such a little careless error. Although, she saved time and began climbing up; this time a little more carefully. The wind was getting cooler, and small patches of snow were beginning to appear up ahead. The lean female felt more excited with each moment. Maybe she could do this more often.

Dmitry turned to Ocean as he heard a yip from her. He released his own bark, "Coming!" and leaped forward. The male quickly caught up right behind her, but his curiosity continued to lead his eyes else where from the sandy hue'd female, causing him to slowly fall behind once again. His ears shot up at the sudden caws of a raven up above their heads. He wondered whether the two had come near the ravens nest. The males ears folded back against his head as he looked up once again at the tall trees, still shocked at how large their trunks were. Despite their strength, he could see that the wind still caused the branches to sway.

He shook himself out of his observations and turned his eyes onto Ocean. A smile lifted his ears as he padded closer to Ocean. "I'm sorry if I'm intruding on your history, but I would like to know how you three came together? It seems like the three of you have a very strong bond and trust each other greatly."

Summer trotted along Quarter Ledge in awe. Her old pack had made sure to never let her more than two feet from the den, and she couldn't believe how big the "outside world" was. Wagging her tail excitedly, she hopped from rock to rock and crawled under everything she could find. The young pup couldn't howl yet, as she was never taught how to, but she tried anyways. Lifting her muzzle into the air, Summer drew in a breath and tried to howl, but it came out the same as every other time. She barked and yipped and then sighed. 'why can't I howl yet?' she thought frustrated. Suddenly. A rabbit hopped out of the bushes and darted past her. Letting out an excited bark, she chased after it and crawled under a bush to watch it. After it nibbled on a clover, it began to run again and Summer sighed, crawled out from under the bush and panted. "Your a fast little one" Summer said in that wise voice of hers. She sounded much older than she was, but it didn't shock her, as this was simply how she talked.

Place 4: Quarter Ledge

Alaska's small and quick paws lightly gripped each rock as she traveled further up the mountain. Except, something changed about the air, which tickled her humid nose. There was a gentle faint scent nearby, which would not belong to an adult wolf, but more to a pup. The base white femme chuffed silently as her nose slightly began to flare. Her head turned to the side, pointing out the source to herself.

'What would a young one be doing around here?' she thought aloud. It wasn't much before the lean Alaskan female decided to change her direction and destination. She could reach the mountain's peak some other time; because finding this pup was now her center of attention. The unusually marked femme began pacing up over the rocks in a graceful manner; quickly and with skill. She has probably forgotten that she had recently almost fell.

It was a few seconds before the sleek Alphess settled her azure gaze upon a slightly older pup; probably around 2-3 months old. She was a short distance away, so that the young one would not completely notice her yet by her bright coat. But, she slowly continued forth and cleared her throat before speaking as she approached. "Mm, hello there." Alaska said with her soft and gentle voice. She was unsure of how to approach the pup, but she calmly did it anyway. The Alphess didn't look much like a threat, since she was somewhat small and very lean. She only waited for the female pup to react to her presence.

Summer straightened up as she heard someone approaching. "Mm Hello there" a white female said to her. She whimpered and took a few steps back. "H..Hi" she said to the older wolf. Summer always avoided direct approach, but this wolf had approached her head on. 'Judging by the wolfs posture, head high, shoulders back, this had to be an alpha' Summer thought. The young pup sighed and submitted to the female, exposing her more vulnerable side and whimpering. She stayed like that and waited for the wolf to speak again. ' I hope she doesn't ask me what I'm doing here all alone" the pup thought in her head. Either way, this was an Alpha, and when alpha's want, alpha's get.

The slim Alphess perked up her ears and halted. Her sharp azure eyes fell into a softer expression at the sight of the pup submitting. The white femme gently shook her head, and sat down where she stood. Alaska wasn't generally sweet towards anyone at all; she was more of an emotionless and silent creature. Her heart slightly melting at the pup, the secretly warm and caring Alaska began to reveal herself. She exhaled and smiled gently as she opened her small maw to speak, "What's... your name? I'm Alaska." she said and crouched down slightly to show she meant no harm, and of course to appear the same height as the pup herself. She also wanted to demonstrate that the pup could trust her.

Summer rolled over as the female now known as Alaska asked her what her name was. "Im Summer" she answered. The pups stomach growled loudly, as she hadn't eaten in over a month. She'd learned to survive on leaves, twigs, bugs, and anything else she could find scattered around the forests floors. Wagging her tail slightly, Summer walked up Alaska and touched noises with her. " My mommy left me here when i was only 1 month, and ive been alone for that exact time." she said to the alpha.

Alaska heard as the pup, whose name was Summer, speak about her mother and her being all alone here. 'Juk taamna' she thought in her native language, which meant "poor thing". The slim femme licked Summer's forehead, and gave her a short nod for comfort. Alaska noticed the loud grumble coming from Summer's belly, making the sleek white female smile, but with concern. "Summer, do you want something to eat?" the Alphess asked and tilted her head. Alaska hasn't really interacted with pups before, so it was somewhat confusing for her, but they were one of her main weaknesses.

She finally stood up, and thought. Maybe the pack could take her in; if not, she had not much longer to survive out here alone. Alaska opened her small maw again, "You can come with me afterwards, to the den. The pack will love having you around." she said in her naturally soft voice, and then nudged Summer's ear gently. The small Alphess only waited to see what Summer had to say about that now.

Summer smiled as Alaska asked told her she could join the pack, she shook her head when Alaska asked her if she wanted something to eat. If I eat not ill be greedy, but if I don't eat I'll get sick. The young pup smiled and pushed any thoughts of food from her head. " I'll be alright. But I'd love to join your pack" she answered her new alpha. Her stomach growled louder, as if protesting against her words, but Summer just pretended it never happened, and hoped Alaska couldn't hear it either.
